Biography

Kresno Dwi Santosa, Master Science on Natural Resources and Environmental Management from Bogor Agricultural University 1999. I have long experience working in the conservation issues in Indonesia with national and International institution. Working with National Development and Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) from 2000 - 2003 as Project Assistant on the Indonesian Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (IBSAP) funded by Global Environmental Facility and World Bank. 2003 - 2007 working with Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) as a Project Officer. Joint with Tropenbos International Indonesia Program(TBI) as a Forest Management Specialist and HCV Coordinator. During working with (TBI) I involved with Consortium Revision Toolkit HCVF Indonesia to develop National Interpretation of HCVF Global Toolkit 2003 and finally TBI has published of "Guidance HCVA assessment in Indonesia, 2008. Since published the guidance I actively to socialization to wider stakeholder through HCV regular and in-house training, HCV assessment based on invitation with partnership scheme. TBI promoted HCV Assessment at the landscape scale as a the best approach to do HCV assessment. Working with Sonokeling Akreditas Nusantara, private consultant firm focused in the HCV assessment and Social Impact Assessment as a HCV Team Leader. I have a long experience to conduct HCV Assessment, mainly in the oil palm plantation with several oil palm company in Indonesia
