Henry Arnhold Fellows are leaders with scalable conservation solutions.Executive Director Paulina Villalpando was selected as a 2016 Henry Arnhold Fellow by the Mulago Foundation. The fellowship honors Henry Arnold, an American banker and philanthropist who fled Nazi-occupied Germany via Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, and Cuba. The Mulago Foundation provides unrestricted funding to organizations in order to develop effective solutions to big problems in health, poverty, education and conservation. The HCV Network is honored to have been selected as part of this year’s group of eight fellows, which included Crystal Davis, Director of Global Forest Watch, John-O Niles, Director of the Carbon Institute and Jim Cannon, CEO and Founder of the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership. This fellowship will provide an opportunity for the Network to continue to improve the HCV Approach and develop innovative ideas towards scaling its impact globally.
